o (BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. To-DAY the steeplechaser Conscript, who is engaged in the Ure'it Northern Steeplechase, was brought up from the West Coast. In double event waeeting to-day, Opal and Voltigeur were in good demand lor the Hurdle Race, coupled with Toriki and Levanter for the Steeplechase. A wager of 100 to 12 was accepted about Levanter for the Hurdles. There were also enquiries for Voltigeur.
