FRENCH ELECTIONS.
o (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH--COPYRUinT). Paris, May 9. The elections for the Chamber of Deputies now in progress have resulted in the defeat of M. Jaures, leader of the Socialist party, and MM. Deloucle, Wilson and Guesde. Among the prominent politicians elected are MM. Meline, Brisson, Ribot, Ricard and Rouvier.
