Brother Razile Moktchali, of the Catholic Mission Station, near Meanee, one of the oldest and most respected settlers iu the district, died on Saturday evening, aged 84. He joined the Maiist Brothers in 1834, and a tew years afterwards came to New Zealand with the Missionary priests, landing at the Bay of Islands in 1841.
