(BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT). i Auckland, Last Night. The Board of Education's recommendation to the Teacher's Selection Committee that Miss M. C. Maudcno be first assistant at the Cambridge School, and Miss B. M. Angove, Rotorua, assistant, was passed. It was agreed to roof the teacher's house at Cambridge with iron. A sum of £lO was granted to the Ran giriri School library, to supplement a similar amount raised by the committee. With reference to the establishment of a schools at Manawaru, the inspector recommends the removal of the Te Aroha West School to a site a quarter of a mile along the main road. No children of school age would then be three miles from the school. This matter was referred to the inspector.
