THE SERIOUS ILLNESS OF MR DAN BARRY.
There is no man with whom the theatrical and theatre-going public of Australasia are better acquainted than Mr Dan Barry, the popular actor-manage. of the Alexandra Theatre, Melbourner Recently one of our representatives paid a visit to him at his office, and he courteously granted a request for a tew miuutes' conversation." " My life has been a varied one," Baid Mr Barry, " and there arc but few cities and to win* in Australia I have not visited. A theatrical manager has much to do mentally, and as a result I commenced to feel the strain some two years ago. Frequently I felt, mentally and physically, quite exhausted. I was also affected with neuralgia in my head, which often seriously interfered with my duties. At night my sleep was restless and of no recuperative benefit, and my illness commenced to tell on me po seriously that I consulted a medical mtu. He told me that my system had run down, and that I wanted a tonic. He gave me some pretty extensive medical advice, which developed into a largesizsd bill. I would not have had any objection to the bill had I received any benefit ; but I had not ; so I tried a second medical man, with no better result than the consoling information that my evident state of debility and want of tone required me to take an extensive rest. This rest wa?, of course, an impossibility. Noticing my indisposition, a fellow-professional suggested I should try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. I followed his advice, and purchased a supply. After using these pills for six weeks I tound myself free from ali signs of debility and its attendant ills, and fully recovered in spirits and health ; in short, " Richard was himself again.' " " And you recommend them ?" '•Yes, I do. If I see any member of my company showing the least signs of brain fag or being run down, I recommend a course of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, and have never known tbem to fail." These pills can be obtained from all chemists and storekeepers, or from the Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., one box for 35., or six for Ids. 9d., post paid. They positively euro indigestion, uia, neuralgia, nervous prostration, ral debility, sciatica, lumbago, amemia, all female irregularities, loss of strength, heat and sick headaches, effects of fevers, etc., eto. If you suffer from any ailment whatsoever, arising from a disordered or unhealthy blood, you should try a course. In your case the cure will be just as permanent and inexpensive as in the case of Mr Dan Barry.
