London, April 2. It is expected that Mr Cecil Khodes and Mr Beit will be elected directors of the South Africa Chartered Company. In the House of Commons Sit R. Reid asked if the Government intended to prevent the election to the directorate of persons implicated in the Jamieson raid. Mr Chamberlain, in reply, said he would place no restriction on the selection of directors because of the Imperial control.
