(BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT), Wellington, Last Night. Orders have been received at the Government Printing Office to expedite the printing of the new electoral rolls, The fact is exciting some speculation, there being no apparent prospect of any further bye-elections. As the Mawhera was coming alongside the wharf she struck a pile, and knocked two of her plates in. She will be thrown out of her running for about a week. There is a feeliug of uneasiness in the building trade. Notwithstanding tli9 fact that work is unusually brisk, even for Wellington, there have been two considerable failures lately, aud more are expected within the next two mouths. The licensee of the Masonic Hotel was fined £5 and cysts for allowing liquor to be consumed on his premises during pro • hibited hours. The license was endorsed, the S.M. describing it as a flagrant case.
