(by telegraph.—own correspondent). Gisborne, Last Night. News has been received from Portland Island that the third keeper of the lighthouse, a man named Soeascea, was gored to death by a bull on Tuesday morning ksc. The bull must have been goring him for fully ten minutes and pinned him to the ground, the unfortunate man having many bones broken and being a mass of bruises. Scciscea was formerly assistant pilot at Foxton. He leaves a wife and family.
