There was an enquiry for Grace Darling and Ports: a shares at Is 9d and 7d respectively, but no sales were reported. iMouowivs were in steady demand, and although 3s 4d was offered, it was known that higher prices would be paid ; sellers quoted 43 6d. For M/iy Queens buyers advanced 3d. Other mining stocks showed no alteration. In standard stocks shipping met with good enquiry, 82s being ottered for New Zealand Steam Shipping Company, £9 for Union do., and 35s 3d for Devonport Ferry.
