THE CHILD MIMIC.
Phyllis Peurikk, the little girl who has become famous throughout Australia for her wonderful powers of mimicry, is now making her finishing trip alter great success throughout New Zealand on the Waikato line, and will open in Hamiitou for Wednes 'ay night next only. She is attended by her father and mother, Mr Win. Pernor, a clever musicd expert, and Miss Halene Langhatn. the writer of most laughable sketches. The family arc uow playing to very full houses in Papakura, Pukekohe and other towns on the line. Throughout New Zealand their audiences have" been phenomenal ; iu many places they have had to open before the advertised time, people of all classfs coming to hear the charming mimicry of this little girl, which it is said is done with perfect unconscious ness aud without the least affectation. The way she imitates Johnny Coleman, in his famous " Scarecrow Dance," is so laughable that frequency both music and words are drowned iu laughter. The family will also open in Cambridge on Tuesday night, 29th March.
