UNITED STATES' TIONS. London, March 14. THE Standard's N<;w York correspondent says that, despite official assurances of a pacific nature, the value of stocks has fullen, in some instances, to the extent of 7 per cent. Washington, March 35. Tho American Government are accelerating the construction of a hundred and fifty big guns at the Washington factory, with the view of arming thirty auxiliary cruisers. Inspection is also being made of forty steamers suitable for conversion into cruisers. Among these are the new American line mail steamers St. Paul and St. Louis. Tho United States has purchased two warships from the Brazilian Government. Vienna, March 15. The Emperor Francis is endeavouring to induce the Powers to represent to the UDited States' the danger to Europe of further interference in the Cuban trouble.
