A QUERY.

♦ • TO THE EDITOK. Sir,—Will you please inform me and several other interested parties, whether a creditor in an intestate estate has any right to seize property of the deceased to tho prejudice of other creditors ? I have always been under the impression that the estates of intestate persons could only be dealt with by the Public Trustee. I think also lhat the hist charge egaiust the property of a deceased person should be the payment of burial expeuses. These should not be a charge upon the Charitable Aid Board, as was the ease in the instance that is now in my mind.—l am, etc., Sfuds and Bacon. [Our answer to the Query is"Cert:iiuly not," and our correspondent is quite right as to funeral expenses. —Ed.
