TE AWAMUTU.
Rangiaohia Road Board.—The usual monthly meeting of the Rangiaohia Road Board was held in the Board's office on Saturday last. There were preeent: Messrs W. H. Mandeno (chairman), Geo McKinder and Michael Turuey. It was resolved that a notice be inserted in the Argus notifying ratepayers that 10 per cent, interest would be charged on all rates unpaid by 15th March. Mr Turney was granted permission to erect two gates across the road running through his property near Lake road. The following accounts were passed for payment: Bearsley and Bygrave, £lB 9s 3d, for work on Rangiaohia aud Te Rahu roads ; R. Cunningham, £6 16s; J. Spragg, £1 2a 6d ; W. Peat, 89 6d. Church Matters —The Rev. Mr Kayll will arrive here on Wednesday next (to-morrow) to take charge of the Waikato West District. There will be a social to welcome him in the Town Hall on Thursday evening next. He will conduct his first services in the following centres on Sunday next: Te Awamutu, 11 a.m. ; Rangiaohia, 3 p.m. ; Kihikihi, 7.30 p.m. Musical Society.—At a committee meetiug of the Musical Society held during the week, it was decided to put in rehearsal the popular opera " Irene."— (Own Correspondent).
