CAMBRIDGE RACING CLUB.
The Committee of the above Club met ou Saturday evening, and declared the following handicaps for the Trot : Ltiaitana scratch, Hurricane 15sec, Otara, Crusty, Shoeclip, Tommy, 20sec, Harry, Bessy Doyle Trumpeter and Dido 25sec,Hauraki Paul 30sec, Nicanor, Laddie, Fisherboy, Harold, and Ruby 35sec, Linda 40aec, Emma, and Murphy 45 ec, Native Cat, Tommy Dodd, and Schoolboy 50sec, Dandy and Duster 55sec, Nettee 60 cc. Acceptances c'ose on Friday next with the Secretary at 8 p.m. The privileges will be sold at Mr W. J. Huuter's Cambridge sale ou Saturday next at 3 p.m.
The Newmarket Handicap, at Flcmington (Victoria), which was run on Saturday, was won by Mr P. Fielder's b m Amiable, 3yrs, Bst 121 b, 1 ; Reaper, syrs, 7st 81b, 2 ; Sailor Boy, 4yrs, 7st, 3. The " greatest attraction" at the South Auckland RaciDg Club's Meeting on Saturday, will be provided by Mr John Bettley, butcher, Hamilton. See advertisement on third page.
