London, Febrnaiy 21. The total amount provided for the British army in the Estimates for the forthcoming year is £19,986,500. It is proposed to increase the cavalry by GB4 men, tho horse and field artillery by 3453, tho garrison artillery by 3714, tho foot guards by 28GI, the infantry regiments by 12,230, and the "West Indian and Malta regiments by 2141 men. The cost of these additions to the numerical strength of the forces is estimated at £1,516,000.
