(BY TELEGBAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. Standard stocks were well sought after to-day. National Banks found buyers at 46s 6d. All the insurance stocks had buyers, 67s 6d being offered for New Zealand, 50s for South British, 16s for National, and 12s for Standard. There were likewise buyers of Auckland Gas (old issue) and Thames Gas. New Zealand Drug (paid up) sold at 495, with further buyers at 48s. Union Oils were wanted at 17s 9d. In mining Waitekauris were firmer. In the morning 40s was on offer, and at the noon call another Is advance was made, with no response. Woodstocks were sought after at 225. A transaction took place in Kurunui-Caledonians at 2s 3d.
