AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.
(by telegeaph—own correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. Standard stocks had excellent demand on the Exchange to-day. Colonial Sugar shares changed hands at £29 10s. National Banks still had demand at 44s 6d, and buyers came in for Auckland Gas at £l4 12s 6d. For Gis orne Gas as high as 38s 6d was offered. Other stocks showed no change. In mining shares Bunker's Hills sold from Is 5d to Is Gd, and Alburnias changed hands at 'As 9d, with no further sellers under 4s. A sale was reported in Great Barriers at 2<. For Waitekauris 4Ss was offered, while Talismans were wanted at 10s and Woodstocks at 22s 6d.
