IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS
(BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, List Night. Important developments have taken place in the Waiiri Consolidated mine. Stone is being taken out of the Favona Rocf which gives told by pounding. The Waihi Consoliuated Company was formed in London with a working capital of £SOOO to develop the Favona and Brilliant propert : es, consisting of 100 acres, situated at Waihi. The mine adjoins the Waihi Grand Junction, WaihiSilvcrfon, and Ohinerouri properties.
