RANGIAOHIA ROAD BOARD.
THE usual monthly meeting of the Rangiaohia Road Board was held in their tffice on Saturday last. Present: Messrs W. 11. Mandeuo (chairman), Geo. McKinder and Roger Kay. Te Awamutu-Te Raiiu Road.—The following tenders were received for this work :—Bearsley und Bygrave, 7s 6d per chain sanding, 4s per chain for the formation ; W. Peat, 12s per chain sanding, 5a 4d per chain formation.—Messrs Bearsley aud Bygrave's tender was accepted. Back Puniu Road.—The tenders received for this work were:—McCee, formation 5s lOd per chain, ploughing and levelling 2s 3d per chain ; Bearsley and-Bygrave, 6s per chain—Mr McGee's tender was accepted. Bank Chargb.—A circular was received liom the manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Te Awamutu,re the charge for keeping the Board's account.-—The matter was allowed to stand over for the present. Henderson's Hill.—Mr McKinder was authorised to expend £5 in gravelling on Mrs Henderson's Hill. Walker's Cutting.—Mr Kay brought up the question of having something done to Walker's Hill at Paikuku.— After some discussion it was agreed that the matter be left in Mr Kay's hands to ascertain what amount those living outside the boundary were willing to contribute towards the Work. Rangiachia-Te Awamutu Road.—lt was resolved that the sum of £25 be expended on the main Te AwamutuRangiaohia Road iu gravelling. Rates Due.—This matter was allowed to stand over till next meeting of the Board. Accounts.—The following accounts were passed for payment :—Beareley and Bygrave, £ll 13s ; Waipa County Council, £6 Is 101; A. Forkert, £1 10*; Waikato Argus, 15s ; W. Peat, £6 10s 6d ; W. Peat, progress payment on Mr Henry Long's road, £7.
