BIJOU COMEDY COMPANY.
This bright little company again appeared in the Volunteer Hall, Hamilton, last evening to a moderate house. An entire change of programme was given, and everything went with a swing ar,d go, which could not fail to please. Miss Armitage was in excellent voice, and sang amongst other songs, " Ora Pro Nobis," aud" Love's Old Sweet Song," being compelled to submit to an encore on each appearance. The charming little comedy, " The Captain's Mare," was produced with great success, and later on a most ludicruous farce entitled, " The Chinese Servants," carried the audience by storm. Ballad and comic and nigger songs and dances were given by Messrs Ted Armitage, F. L. Norman, C. Witton and Louis Phillips, and everything was carried out in a spirited manner, which certaiuly merited a better attendance. The company leaves shortly for a tour through the countiy districts, working back to the King Country before leaving for Dunedin, and we'can thoroughly recommend the entertainment to our readers as a really up-to-date show, which is well worth a visit.
