Matters were quiet on 'Change to-day, as far as transactions in mining stocks were conccred, but there is no decline in the recent advances recorded. May Queens were wanted at 7s, and Moanatairi shares could have been readily placed at 10i 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions firmed a little, 12s Gd being offered with no sellers quoted. Waihi Silter ton shares were asked for at Sn, but no sales resulted. In the. cheaper stocks, transactions were reported in FourinHands at 7d. A similar fisjurc was offered for Imperial 3 and Bunker Hills. Investing stocks had steady enquiry at yesterday's rates, but no sales were reported.
