London, January 18. A Keutee's telegram state that France and Great Britain support the appointment of Prince George of Greece to the GoTeruorship of Crete, but that Germany and Austria oppose it.

Serious differences are said to have arisen between the German and Bussian Ambassadors at Constantinople. The Sultan has replied to the Czar that the appointment of Prince George of Greece, as Governor of Crete, would not conduce to the maintenance and integrity of the Turkish Empire.
