SUGAR-BEET SYNDICATE.

TO THK EDITOR. Sir, —With regard to recent correspondence and negotiations between our syndicate and the Waikato Farmers’ Club, we think it right for the information of settlers and guarantors of the Waikato and Waipa districts to state that being desirous of meeting the Club, we received an invitation to a meeting to be held on 10th inst. We find, however, that it was held, on the 3rd inst., of which we had no notice, and therefore were prevented being present. By publishing this in your esteemed paper you will oblige.—l am, etc., Nicolas I.ewenbeeg, Chairman. A. L Harvey, Secretary.
