ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH, CAMBRIDGE.
The quarterly meeting of the Vestry of the above church was held on Monday evening last. The statement of accounts submitted by the Treasurer (Mr Wells) for the quarter ended 31st December was a most satisfactory one, as it showed that the whole of the overdraft at the bank had been paid off and a small credit balance remained. So satisfactory had been the response to the appeal made by the Vicar that the receipts for ths quarter had been from £3O to £4O above the average. The total lUibilitias at date were £27, aud they were all for salaries only due on the 31st ultimo, whereas at the commencement cf the quarter they were £73. This demonstrates that the parishioners have given with unstinting hand. Another very good sign was that the whole of the seatholders had paid up promptly, and not a single one Mas in airear. We understand this ia the first time that the arrears column has been unoccupied since the church was first established. Archdeacon Will's, who is only just recovering from a severe attack of in* fiucuzi, has been ordered to tho seaside by his doctor for a holi.lay. He leaves Cambridge at the end of this week for about a fortnight, and he has asked the Primate to arrange for supplying his [.'lace in the meantime.
