CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD.

The annual meeting of the Cambridge Domain Board was held at 2 p.m. yesterday. There were present :—Messrs T. Wei's (chairman), E. Hewitt, E. Alien and J. Fisher. In'ew Member. —The Chairman stated that no reply had been received fiorn the Government to the letter of 7th October last asking to hive the Mayor of the borough made a member of the Board. The Bank Charges —The clerk was instructed to write to the Minister for Lands asking for a reply to the letter from the bank re charging a guinea per annum tor keeping the account.—lt was resolved that the Board being a nominated body administering the public funds on behalf of the Crown, declines to sign any such document as that forwarded. Accounts.—The annual balance-sheet was then read and adopted, heeipts and rents showed £'2l9 lis Id, tnd expend - ture £248 2s Bd, having an overdraft of £37 His, Id (sic). Asse's, £6l 15s 7d ; liabilities, £-14 183 Id. Chairman.—Mt Wells was re-elected Chairman, the Board declining lo hear of his retiring. He briefly thanked the Board. Inspecth n.—The members then went to inspect the road on tin lower level round the like, which has been much broken up by the activity of the springs.
