• Wellington, December 22.—Weather forecast for 24 hours from 0 a.m. this day,—Wind : Between north-west and west and south at all places during the next 12 hours, but changing after that time to between north and eastsind south-ea3t at all places north of Thames and Manukau. Barometer :. Rise slowly everywhere during the next 12 hours, but falling at places north of Thames and Auckland after that time. Sea : Increasing on East Coast north of East Cape, moderate elsewhere. Tides : Moderate on all West'rn Coast, increasing on all Eastern Coast. Strong easterly* winds, probably with rain, a r e to be expected at all places north of Thames and Manukau, and moderate to fresh westerly winds and fine weather everywhere else.
