It was cxpsctcd that the racehorse VVaiuku would arrive at the Manulcau to-day from New Plymouth, but enbuiries showed that he was not on board either the Mahinapua or Gairloch. It is now given out that Waiuku arrives by next Wednesday's steamer.
Wagering was dull to d'y. St. Pjjl is still quoted at 5 to 2 for the Gup, Waiuku 4 to 1, and Daystar 5 to 1. The following scratchings are announced by Mr Pcrcival : St, Clements in the Railway Handicap, Archduke iu the Pony Race, Tim in the Hurdles, Coronet in the Christmas Handicap.
