Wellington, December 10.—Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this dav : _Wind : Between south:and east and north-cast at all places north of Timaru and Queenstown, and between north-east and north and west ; thence southward. - Barometer : Further fall northward of East Cape, Taupo and Ne« Plymouth, fall everywhere else soon. Sea : Heavy on all East Coast. Heavy after 16 hours on West Coast north of Westport. Tides : High on all eastern and increasing on West Coast north of Westport. Easterly galea with rain are to be expected at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and strong easterly winds, with probably rain, after 16 hours, thence southward to lunaru and Queenstown, and strong northerly winds elsewhere. .
