Auckland, Last Night. Investing stocks continue to meet with good demand, with the exception of (las shares, which generally speaking are easier. Thames Gas shares were, however, asked for at :>lSs. lu mining stocks little business was done to-day, but Woodstocks were inquired for at I'2-i 6d. Buyers also came in for Waiotahi shares at 21s, hut as the only quoted seller asked 41s, a transaction did not follow.
