Mandalay, October IS. The Burmese party who recently rushed one of the gates of the British cantonment have confessed that their object in making the attack was to eject the British. The Priest, who acted as leader, wished to induce the band to believe he was endowel .vith an invisible power, and was invulnerable. Many Burmans have been arrested. Those connected with the plot include many officials.
