ST. AUGUSTINE.
London, September 13. Cardinal "Vaugiian, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster, and Monsignor Perraud, the Pope's Nuncio to England, conducted a thanksgiving service at Brompton Oratory yesterday in commemoration of the landing of St. Augustine in England. A letter from the Pope was read, in which His Holiness declares that the Roman Catholics of England alone had the honour of being the disciples of St. Augustine.
