Wellington, July 27.—Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day : —Wind : Between north and west aid south-west at all places northward of Thames and Manukau, aud between north ■ east and north and west, thence southward to Napier and i\evy Plymouth, and between north and cast and south-east elsewhere. Barometer : Fall everywhere, but rising at all places northward of Thames and Manukau after 10 hours. Northerly gales with rain, are to be expected at all places north of Napier, Taupo and Raglan, and easterly gales with rain thence southward to Lyttelton and Hokitika, and strong easterly winds thence southward.
