Wellington, 19th July. Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day :—Wind : Betweeu north-west and west and south at all places. Barometer : Fall everywhere. Westerly gales are to be expected in all parts of the country, with cold weather and snow on high land in both islands. Pressure has continued unusually low in the South since the 15th inst,, and this indicates that a prolonged spell of high southerly winds, with colder weather, will occur with the rising barometer.
