(El" TELEOEArn. —OWN COREKSPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night.—. Messrs Hunter and Nolan report that at the Durham Yards quite the usual number of horses was entered, but prices showed no improvement. Heavy draughts sold from £lO 10s to £l6 10s ; medium do., £9 to £l2; light harness, £3 10s to £9. At the special sale of Mcßride's trotting horses the prices realised ranged from 5 to 40 guineas. Hides were brought forward in full numbers. Dry sound hides fetched last week's rates, but sloppy ones were a shade easier. Stout sold from 4d to 5d ; medium, 2jd to 3Jd; cow, 2Jd to 'Sid. Sheepskins : Heavy, 2s 9d to 4s ; light and medium, Is 2d to 2s 8d : pelts, 7d to lOd. At the Junction Yards there was a fair muster of fat cattle. Steers averaged ISs per 1001 b, small prime cattle solliag best, and fat cows averaged 16s per 100. b. Steers fetched from £5 9s to £S 12s 6d. Iu dairy cattle springers sold from £3 10s to £6 12s 6d, and dry cows from £1 15s to £2 10s. Sheep were penned in good numbers. Wethers sold from SSs 6d to 16s each ; ewes, 7s 6d to lis 3d ; mixed sexes, 9s 9d to 12s 3d ; hoggets, 9s 6d to 10s. Small pigs realised 6s to 16s each.
