The Waikato Argus Office, Wednesday. OHAUPO STOCK MARKET. At Mr W. 3. Hunter's sale on Tuesday, about 2110 head were yarded, 100 of •which were dairy cows, many of them of a superior class, for which there was good competition, up to £ti lis ; most of the dairy cows were sold. Calves are still selling at good prices, up to £1 ss. No grown steers offered. Prices were as follows :—Dairy cows selling freely from £3 10s to £6 lis ; a few were passed, and they were sold afterwards privately ; calves, mixed sexes, from "22s (Id to 25s ; springing heifers from £2 15s to £4 9s ; eighteen months old steers, 39s ; coarse two-year-old steers, £2 Gs; fat cows from £4 to £4 10s. Sheep : About 400 were yarded ; good hoggets, Ss 9d ; ewes in lamb, Gs 9d offered, 7s Gd wanted ; not much demand.—(Ohanpo Correspondent).
