RAGLAN.

Mutual Lmfeovemest Society. A meeting of the above society was held on the 16th June. The Rev. C. A. Lyon read an interesting paper on " Religious Progress " during the Queen's Reign. Mr Williams also read a paper on the " Progress of Science " during the Queen's Reign. Both were instructive papers. Dkath.— I regret to report the death of an old settler, Mr Mould, of Te Mata, who died at his residence on Wednesday evening. The immediate cause of death was heart disease. The interment took place on Sunday at Okete, and there was a large attendance of mourners.—(Own Correnpondent).
