FOOTBALL AND CRICKET SOCIAL
Thk dance and social organised by the Hamilton Cricket and Football Clubs took place in the Oddfellows' Hall on Thursday craning. The music was supplied by Misses K. Hill and Yeates, assisted by Messrs VV, Gribble, J. Drury, J. l)e\'ery, J. Harker, A. Coatcs and Calcier, and about 30 couples spent a very pleasant evening. In the intervals between the dances songs were given by Messrs Million, Buxton, Drury, Beere, Dcvery and Speight, while recitut.ions wire ccntributed by Messrs W. Windsor and W. Hyde. Refreshments supplied by Mr T. Buxton, of the Royal Hotel, were handed round, and great'}' appreciated. As M.CJ. Mr C. Speisht was very successfu 1 . Doubtless the fuuds of both clubs will be considerably augmented.
