Aiteu a practice match in the afternoon, a well-attended meeting of footballers was held at Whatawhatii on Saturday evening, Sth inst., Mr A. M. Ferguson in the chair, when a club was formed and the following ctlieets elected: I'residuit : Mr F. W. I ang, M.H.K. Vice-President? : Messrs W. Geaeh, F. Noble, G. Sw.mson, K. Maegrcgor, F. Story, S. Calder, and Hone Matfiie. Hon! Sec. and Treasurer : \V. A. Pilkington. Management Committee : W. Park, Awariitu, Kanere, L'ou, A. Ferguson, W. A. PilkiugtnD. Selection (Jotntnittce : A. Ferguson and Kanere. It was decided that the elub"s colours be red and black hoop >, also tint the captain and deputy-captain 1 e e'eoted by the team on the field bifo.e the next match. A hearty vote of thanks to Mr Geach for kindly presenting the club with a new bull concluded the meeting. The following team has been cho«cn to represent Hamilton in their first match ugaintt Ilunt'y, to be played at Huntly en Saturday next : Full-baoli Kirk ; llreetpiarters --M. Huberts, It.
