At the meeting of the Board on Tuesday the following businessjof interest in this district was dispose 1 of: The following resignations were received : Miss Alice Tierncy, Paeroa school. The following temporary airaugenieiiC was made : Miss Marsden to Te Aroha during absence of Miss Goldsworthy. The seleet'on committee made the following recommendat'ons : Miss Kate Reynolds, assistant, Cambridge school; Miss P. L. Smale, sewing teacher, Okoroire ; that a female teacher be sent to thcGlen Murray school. Miss Godsell waited upon the Board to urge the establishment of a half-time school at Pepepe, in the Glen Murray district, The tender of Mr J. H. Janus, £197, for the erection ot a school at Kitnihia to accommodate 45 pupils was accepted.
