Washington, October 23. The splendid gameness with which Mr Bryan is fighting tho Presidential election is attracting the syrrpathy of the workmen. He is delivering 20 speeches a day. Mr Hanna, McKinley's chief manager, says that McKinley's success is assured. It is expected that vast hoards of gold will be released if McKinley is elected President.
President Cleveland, speaking at Princetown University, denounced tho attempts that were being made to entice the people to a course of national dishonesty.
