Scuoor, Examination.—The annual examination in litis school was held tlr's wcsk, and passed off most successfully. Nineteen children were presented for the various standards and all passed, much to the joy of the children, and greatly to the credit of our rc-pected teacher, Miss Wilson. There are 'J'.t children attending the school, of whom 10 are lelow the first standard. The remainder passed as follows :—.Standard VI., 3 ; Standard V., :? ; S'andard IV., 4 ; Standard 111., 2 ; .Standard 11., 2 ; Standard 1., 5.
Creamery.—Mr Moris, representing MrSpragg, was here this week, with the view of getting the suppliers to come suftic'ently early to enable the cream to be shipped the simo day by train for NgiruawahU. This 'would mean getting up before daylight, tor many, especially tho:C living four or five miles away, and I fear it will not be possible to have the cream at the station in ti no If it is any advantage to the Dairy Association I presume the}' will be willing to pay something extra for the extra effort. The quantity of milk teee.vul herd daily is now over aliO gallons—(Own Correspondent).
