Le Noun states that the rumour that the Czarina proposed to stay nt Balmoral while the Czar visited Paris to lay the foundation stono of the Paris Exhibition is incorrect, and that she will accompany her husband. London, August 27. There is indication of increasing friendship between Fiance, Russia, and Italy. General Tornielli Brusati Di Vergano, Italian Ambassador in France, has been summoned to Rome, nominally in connection with a commercial treaty between Italy and Tunis, but it is surmised his real mission has wider aims.
