COLLEGE FULLY STAFFED

Ruapehu College is fully staffed for the first term of 1989, said principal Harry Cast last week. He said there was one new permanent staff member, Mr Rick Knight, at the college and that the school was fully staffed and ready to go. The college will have a new deputy principal soon with the arrival of Mr Graham Parker later in the term. Mr Gerry Bidwell left last year to teach at Wanganui College and Mr Leon Hawea, the school physical education teacher has taken a year's paid study leave to finish a degree. Mr Cast said Mr Hawea was one of only 30 teachers in the country to be granted the paid leave.
