SUNNY SNOW REPORT
Reported in the Turangi Chronicle recently was an item about a traveller who called into the Turangi Information Centre and asked for a snow report. The holiday maker asked which side of Ruapehu had more snow, Tukino or Turoa. DoC had the answer - Turoa has more snow. Information on how extensive the damage to the visitor's skis was after his visit wasn't available.
