Situation : A large anticyclone is moving only slowly eastwards over New Zealand. From mid-week an easterly air stream is expected to spread on to the North Island. During Thursday and Friday a cool southeast change should spread over the country. Forecast: Mostly fine with moderate easterlies. On Thursday isolated showers with showers becoming more widespread on Friday.
