Roads board objects to plans
Two Waiouru planning applications have drawn objections from the National Roads Board. The board was concerned about access from State Highway 49 to the site of one of the proposed developments, which was to build motels on Ngauruhoe Street and State Highway 49. The application was from Mr Bemard Jackson. The NRB objected to the other application, from R.S.Vine to build a house on land adjoining State Highway One, because the
allotment already has two dwellings on it. No other objections
were received by the Rangitikei County Council.
The applications are to be heard later this month.
