Fancy dress at pony rally
Sunday, December '18 saw some weird and wonderfully dressed yonies and riders at the Raetihi Pony Club Xmas Rally. Father Christmas on Rudolph the Red Nosed Pony, Cowgirls, Cowboys, a Jockey, Bride and her bridesmaid, a
ghost, a Beach Bum, a 'My Little Pony', and many other interesting costumes made a very colourful display. Games and a jumping competition followed by ice blocks and an afternoon tea ended a busy few weeks of riding activities.
Results were as follows: Egg and Spoon Race: Junior: 1st Marni McGregor, 2nd Kelly Godfrey, 3rd Nicola Smith; Intermediate: lst Kirsty Mcllroy, 2nd Emma Cornwall, 3rd Vicki Pearson; Senior: lst Janine Maru, 2nd Trudi Allerby, 3rd Rachel James. Jumping: Junior: lst Megan Enright, 2nd Kelly Godfrey, 3rd Kerri Allerby; Interme-
diate: lst Sally Williams, 2nd Vicki Pearson, 3rd Marni McGregor; Senior: lst Trudi Allerby, 2nd Maria Fredricksen, 3rd= Emma Cornwall, Sarah Cornwall. Five of Raetihi members gained their C Certificates prior to Christmas. Congratulations to Rachel James, Katrina Wilson, Donovan Morris, Cindy Langdon and Sharon Wagstaff.
