SUBS SWAMP POST OFFICE

Subscriptions to Ruapehu Publishers' new magazine New Zealand Geographic have been coming in thick and fast. The magazine is due to be launched next week and since advertisements were released offering subscriptions to the magazine the post office have been sorting an avergage of 200 letters per day - about 1600 so far. Publisher John Woods said he was very pleased with the response which proved there was a need for a magazine of its type in New Zealand. The Prime Minister will officially launch the magazine at a function at the National Library in Wellington next Tuesday.
