DOUGHNUTS DO TIME

The Cedar people seem to see the Gossip column as their own, what with the number of times they appear in it. Still, they probably deserve it. Bruce gets a mention this week - to do with work shouts too. Seems Cedar's Warren did a good deed recently - he managed to retrieve the keys from a locked car. When asked about payment he generously suggested the lady not worry about it. When she insisted he suggested she shout the workers. What's that got to do with Bruce? Well, about four days later Warren asked if anyone had seen the doughnuts promised. Bruce replied "oh yeah. They're on the shelf." Trouble is they'd been there since soon after Warren's good deed. Who's shouting now?
