Golf club closing day
The winners of the greensome foursome in last Sunday's Waimarino Golf Club play were Don and Edith Windle 54 Nett, runners up G. Imhoff and N. Winter. The mens 4 ball best ball par was won by A . Donald and F. Bright 8 up. Twos were scored by G. Imhoff, S . Arahanga, P . Goldfinch, T. Barnard, T. Spry and B . Berridge. Prize winners in this years competitions were Senior Mens Champion J. Summerhays, runner up J. Ennis. Intermediate Champion T. Geraghty, runner up B Drinkwater, Junior Champion N. Clarke, runner up J. Hammond, Improvers Champion J. Mcllroy runner up H. Geraghty. The Anderson cup was won by T. Donghi, runner up T. Frederick Snr. The McKay Cup won by T. Spry, Mahar Trophy T. Tapp, Daisley Cup won by R. Pearson, Saturday Cup N. Leitz. The Strachan Trophy G. Allerby, Baddeley Cup won by D. & E. Windle, the Gillett Cup M. & G. Allerby. The medal round was won by N. Clarke, Rangiwaea Trophy won by P. Goldfinch and E. Rush jointly with P .
Price and N. Cranston. the Alpe Cup was won by N. Clarke, the Captains Trophy was won by N. Cranston. The Rangiwaea Trophy,
mens won by A. Donald. Easter Par won by G. Imhoff, the Webb Trophy and Windle gross by J. Summerhays, the Shakespeare
memorial won by F. Bright. Twilight Golf will commence on Thursday November 17 from 4.30pm onwards. All
interested members most welcome. The sponsors for the day's event were Raetihi Hardware and the Sheepskin shop.
